As you lay in your private lounge chair sipping on the most delicious and fresh tasting piña-colada, you can look out into the crystal clear blue waters and watch the local life go by. Also while relaxing, hear the quiet hum of local fishermen cruising the sea to catch some fresh fish for your next meal, and don’t be surprised if someone walks by selling fresh pineapple, mango, or other tropical fruits.

As you wander around your beach resort to get a feel for the local people you will see women walking around balancing a tray of local snacks on their head graciously singing about their treats. Be sure to indulge in some of these tasty seaside snacks.

As you pass through the village, young children will be playing football or takraw in small clearings. There will be thousands of items displayed on street vendor stalls, and smells of fresh seafood billowing down the street. You can either enjoy the local life or just stay on the beach and relax; the choice is yours.

To really treat yourself at the beach, be sure to try the local cuisine. The tropical beach-side setting and delicious fresh seafood makes for the most perfect atmosphere.
